Environmental Justice Writing Award Ceremony

The 2019 UCI Courageous and Transformative Action for Environmental Justice Writing Awards Ceremony took place on Tuesday, June 4, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Humanities Gateway, Room 1010.
The ceremony included readings from select student writing submissions, reflections by faculty co-hosts, and the presentation of awards. Students, faculty, staff, and community members were warmly welcomed to attend. Light refreshments were provided.

The writing award is co-sponsored by the Department of African American Studies, Center for Excellence in Writing and Communication, Community Resilience Projects, and Schools of Education, Law, Social Ecology, and Social Sciences.
