The UCI Costa Rica Program invites you to their 2019 Research Symposium on Thursday, May 23rd from 5pm – 7pm in the Mesa Court Community Center.

Join the UCI Costa Rica Program team for an evening of sharing, learning, and discussion. The event includes a formal program highlighting this year’s participants, interactive booths, and a fair showcasing student research projects conducted while in Costa Rica on ecotourism, agroforestry, immigration, health, conservation, biodiversity, and more. Costa Rican inspired light refreshments will be served.

Now in its 8th year, this signature program in global sustainability and cultural immersion allows UCI undergrads to foster cultural competence and global leadership through an alternative break and 2-quarter academic experience. The program is sponsored by Student Housing, the Division of Student Affairs, the Division of Undergraduate Education, and the Civic and Community Engagement Minor at UC Irvine. Special appreciation to The Green Initiative Fund and the Resident Housing Association (RHA) who will be helping to support the event this year.
